Taken from the upcoming The Urban District album ”Driftbox”, track number 3 from the album gets a single release as original mix alongside an ambient and electronica version by Apres Midi (Addex alias). Since last album in 2016, The Urban District has only made 1 ep in 2020 called Radiometry released on our label. Driftbox 3 is an extract from the album with the same name.
Comparing to his last album, ”Mindset”, the new album is more deep than dub. On Mindset album, tracks are very chill, blending with dub sounds. On Driftbox album and 7 years later than the previous one, the sound is upgraded, there are plenty of sounds and organization through the tracks. The distinct sound has remained the same, but a different flow, lots of elements and dub touch has given the album fresh vibes.
